OFFERR launches the European User Facility Network catalogue and first call for proposals

**Posted on behalf of SNETP**

The OFFERR project, launched by the SNETP association and funded by EURATOM, is pleased to announce its first call for proposals on 3 April 2023. Part of this announcement is the publication of the European User Facility Network (EUFN) catalogue, which showcases a wide range of nuclear research facilities participating in this call.

The objective of the EUFN network is to facilitate international cooperation in nuclear research between European Union (and EURATOM associate Members) research organizations, universities, companies and their partners through financing transnational access to key nuclear research infrastructures.

The call is open for project proposals within all disciplines and topics of research, development and innovation that are in line with the strategic research and innovation Agenda (SRIA) of SNETP. Project proposals supported by other European associations and organizations acting within EURATOM framework will be also considered.

For this first call, two types of applications are possible:

  • “fast-track project” to perform studies of limited scope within less than 6 months of access to the infrastructure, financial support of up to 50K EUR.
  • “complex project” to perform studies with extended scope within less than 18 months of access to the infrastructure, financial support of up to 1M EUR.

The European User Facility Network catalogue is a comprehensive and rich guide that will help you get an overview of all the facilities of the call and prepare your proposal. The catalogue will be updated throughout the duration of the OFFERR project and can be viewed and downloaded here.

The submission of proposals starts on 3 April 2023 with the first cut-off date for Fast track project on 16 May 2023. The OFFERR calls will remain open until 2025 with several cut-off date along the years concerning Fast Track project and Complex projects.
